Leia

Leia is a Jack Russell/ Chihuahua mix, just turned 5 years old in January, and is the most lovable and affectionate pup. She is very excitable and she does have a bit of a bark, but she is attentive and obedient and very loyal. She loves to cuddle actually loves bath time. she does show signs of anxiety and can get very submissive when feeling threatened...she gets nervous when around my partner (he's over 6 feet, with a very deep voice) and she responds better to women. She does know how to communicate when she needs to go out and we have her house trained with pee pads, however we've had problems with her going around the apt and also her kennel. We have an apartment so we aren't able to let her as often as she needs too, but it would be a different situation if she was in a house and free to go out more often. She has basic training and she loves to run around and play. More than anything she needs someone who can show her love, be patient, and give her the care she needs; she's a very special animal who has been through alot and she needs someone that can provide time and consistency.
