Jax came to us when he was 5 months old with a severe injury to his paw. He has gone through 6 months of surgeries and care but ultimately his paw couldn't heal and the decision was made to amputate his leg so he could get on with living a full life instead of one of restriction, crate rest and cones. Throughout everything Jax remained happy, always eager to greet anyone (human or dog) and he seems to always be smiling. Jax just turned one year old and he is ready to find his forever family. He loves to play fetch and cuddle on the couch. Jax is house trained and perfectly comfortable in a crate. He gets along with dogs both big and small and has never met a kid he didn't like. Jax weighs approximately 55 lbs.
