Jade

Jada‘s a four-year-old song, she is a mix, I got her in Arizona before we moved to Nevada, I got her when she was about six weeks old, the family that I got her from had no idea what kind of dog she was other than she was mixed with border collie, she looked starved when I got her she was on craigslist. She is not spayed, she has always been a great dog but I’ve been working a lot and I don’t feel she’s 100% safe with my kids right now because she did start trying to bite me and she’s been snatching food out of the kids hands and accidentally biting their fingers. She gets along with all animals , cats and dogs. She does get food aggressive sometimes and if someone’s in her space more than she wants them to she gets on edge with that. She’s more of a leader of a pack, she is overweight, we have tried giving her less portions and better food, we tried science diet, we tried grain free food. She’s still been overweight she’s always been like that. She also is constantly itching her self, I try to give her as many baths as I can, but with my last attempt she did try to bite me. I do feel she has gotten a little more aggressive, I feel super bad even having to email anyone with the idea of surrounding her but I work as a nurse full-time and I’ve been working a lot of overtime so I feel like it’s not fair to her that she’s not getting the care she needs.
