I am reaching out under incredibly difficult circumstances. Due to a sudden work relocation to Hawaii, the strict quarantine timelines and logistics mean I am unable to bring my beloved dog with me. I am seeking a reputable rescue or foundation that can help him find a loving home for his golden years.
He is an 11-year-old Dutch Shepherd whom I have raised since he was a puppy. He is a truly wonderful dog who has been a cherished part of our family.

Amazing with Children: He currently lives harmoniously with two adults and two young children (ages 4 and 5). He is incredibly gentle, patient, and loving with them.
Small Dog History: He successfully lived with our family Pug for 9 years until she recently passed away of old age.
Temperament: He is happy, laid-back, and loves to relax, but he still has a wonderful, playful energy when it's time for fun.
Health: He is neutered, fully up-to-date on all vaccinations (most recently vetted and boarded in May 2026), and in great health for his age.
