Rosie joined us after living a rough life, first being bred several times and then sold to someone who tried to train her to become a hunting dog. She came to us with callouses, a severe ear infection and a nervous demeanor. Rosie quickly learned how nice it is to live as a family member, thanks to her foster home. She loves toys, soft pets and yummy treats! Rosie can be shy in new situations but she has never shown any aggression, she just needs a few minutes to feel safe. Her personality comes out more each day and her playful side had her foster mom thinking she was a puppy again! Rosie is house trained, friendly with other dogs and loves people. She is 4 years old and approximately 45 lbs.
