Tammy has been with us for several months now and she has made so much progress! She came in with severe dry, unhealthy skin and a terrified personality. Now her coat is healthy and she enjoys cuddles with her person - although still on her terms. We joke that Tammy is a cat trapped in a dog's body; she gets nervous when someone wants to pick her up and will still occasionally run, but she is doing better. She is happy to jump onto the couch to join her foster for cuddles and enjoys snoozing in the bed. Tammy does best in a quiet home with 1 or 2 people. She likes other dogs, preferring a calm companion who is content to do their own thing. Tammy is approximately 4 years old and weighs 9 lbs.
